Yes I think so
Make sure you know what you are ordering because if you make a mistake they will replace it but they will charge you what you originally ordered. We liked the food once we figured out what to order but based on how we were treated we will not be going back. I am sure they thought we were from out of town but we are locals!
Service was fantastic, otherwise 2 star. Food was really bad, menu was disappointing. I don't understand why a restaurant at altitude would have a heavily seafood menu, but even the steak fajitas were garbage. How do you mess up fajitas? Prices outrageous. I see why it was the only place that could take us.
Good food and service was great
We loved this placed!!. Fabulous location. Quiet with attentive staff. And then there is the food. I had the best Carnitas I’ve ever had. Giant portions of good sides. Great margaritas. I wish they would drop the extra charge for a small serving of salsa. Still , this is a very minor issue. This place is a hidden gem worth looking for.
Excellent COASTAL Mexican. This is not Tex-Mex. Ceviche is exactly what you'd get in Acapulco or Mazatlan, where the owner/operator family is from. Perfection! Tacos are the small corn type, about 6" but packed with flavor. Meats cooked to order, lots of cilantro and finely diced onion. Owner says 95% fresh ingredients and made with love. Even make chips in house. Go to Tequilas if you want giant plates spilling over with heavy, greasy, plains-style Mexican food. They are good too. But THIS is lighter, more refined coastal Mexican prepared fresh to order so it may take a little time. Sip a fine Tequila and relax.
The service, food, and atmosphere were all very good. They serve some of the best seveche I've had outside of Mexico. The bad reviews of this place were probably the outliers, since everything my group had was excellent!
Service was awesome, clean atmosphere, food wasn't so good
This place is a total tourist trap. They’re hoping that you forgot to get reservations at any of the surrounding restaurants and ended up here hungry and desperate. My party of four sat here waiting for our drinks for half an hour before walking out.
Food was nasty. Service was horrible!!! Waitress was rude, and service was slow. I ordered flautas asked for half chicken half beef and they tried to bring me out 2 full plates. Never again
The worst place to eat bad services ,food ,drink we wait like in hour to get the order another hour for the food not enough employer Bad bad bad
Food was just OK. This is colorado you can do better. Tamales dry corn more like a dry cake, chips arrived cold and appears bagged not fresh. Faustus smothered in sour cream and not good. No refill on chips after asking 2x and no refill on drink. Maybe it was the sat lunch crew. Only positive food arrived in good time and place appears clean.
Hard to mess up Mexican food, but Las Palmas did it. Enchiladas came out cold but the nachos were burnt. I asked for salsa for the nachos and when the bill came they charged us an extra $2. The taco salad had nearly no lettuce and the conveniently forgot the guacamole. The server didn’t even try to correct anything. Don’t waste your time with this place as Glenwood has so many more great restaurants.
Service was bad, can't blame the waitress too much however because it seemed like an understaffing problem. Food took long as well despite there being only one other table. The location was good and setting was alright. The food was disappointing and it left me thinking all Mexican food in Colorado is bad
Food was ok. Good service. Not the best Mexican food we've ever had.
Diana was great knew her menu well. She as well as the place were excellent.
Huavos Rancheros were awesome. Service was iffy but they were pretty busy.
I enjoyed this place. Coconut margarita is excellent. Decent chips and salsa.
Food took over an hour to get, ordered queso expecting to get it before our food came out. Waitress “ forgot”. Service was poor. Will not go back. If you want good Mexican we checked out frida the night prior and it was amazing. Only a mile or so away.
Awesome house margarita, tacos, and chips and salsa. Our bartender was our waitress. She was very nice.We had the shredded beef tacos and they were delicious. Nice decor with some Mexican music playing while we ate. Nice specials, very impressed. Their pico de gallo and salsa tasted super fresh. Go visit here.
Food was ok....but the service was awful! Our server was rude, snooty, and would disappear for long periods. And the place was not busy at all. We usually leave a 25% tip but if the service is bad we leave at the very least 15%. They put an automatic 20% tip on bill, not cool she was awful didn't deserve it.
The nicest bartender that I have ever met nice night with my daughters and husband
This place was horrible bad customer service waiter was rude didn't like it at all.
The food served was stale and bland. Definitely one of the worst enchiladas I've ever had
Service was a little slow, but the people were super nice.
This is a great little restaurant slightly removed from the typical bustle of Glenwood. The food is fantastic and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic mexican or quality seafood up in the Rockies
We had a terrible experience here. When we ordered we made a specific request for my daughters food and they got it wrong. We asked to send it back for the right thing, which took forever. In the end they tried to charge us for the extra food that they made wrong. The waitress was really rude and argued with my wife about it and I. The end said “whatever” and walked off. Ultimately we didn’t have to pay for it.The overall food quality was ok but the customer service was what made this a one star review. I wouldn’t recommend going here, there’s probably better options in the area.
We happened upon this place in December.. being huge supporters of family owned spots we brought our family back this week and are extremely embarrassed to even have recommended. The servers were rude and not knowledgeable of their own menu, literally not able to able a single question at our table. We had to ask for drink refills every time we needed them and were even graced with a bug in one of our waters...we ordered the table side guacamole and were underwhelmed by the bland flavor and the server who missed a great customer building experience and appeared to hate her job. We asked for cheese on a taco and were charged $2... don’t waste your time.
We're hoping for something better than resort town variety. We set our standards at medium and went in. Ordered the queso fondito. Our waitress went to serve another table and sent the bartender to help us. We ordered steak fajitas to split. We never got our appetizer. I asked the first waitress if she put in the order for the appitizer or just dropped us as a table. She apologized and asked if we still wanted it. I declined but said if you want to bring over a small amount for us to try, that would be great as I really wanted to try it. Never happened. Fajitas were served. The onions and peppers we put on the hot skillet raw, I guess they assumed they would cook in the 30 seconds to get to the table. The steak was over cooked and without flavor but the veggies were over salted so it balanced, not. We left disappointed. We also had to ask for our change twice. Will not go again and wouldn't recommend.
Great service! Pretty good food. Took great care of our group of 9 on a Saturday night.
I don't know if we came on an off night, as locals told us the place was usually very good! But it was nearly impossible to get melted cheese on enchiladas, even though the picture showed that, ultimately that was how what was wanted was figured out. Also wish I was told there was no guac before I ordered tacos al pastor, since it also was shown with it, and is quite dry without...The atmosphere overall was nice, and the food was mostly fixed, but still not better than the average place next door. But generally more expensive. $22 for 2 shots of Patron with a backer was quite steep. For the entire price we could have gone to the nice stake house a few steps away, and not had any issues. *Again this was just my person experience on what may have been an off night, I have heard good things, but maybe cheap Mexican food is just better in Denver than Glenwood Springs?*
Great service, friendly staff.
food not that great! cold burrito....not the best tasting margaritas > pricey for bad quality will not go back!
I love this place, time and time again.
This place was absolutely horrible! The food was nasty! The restaurant was dirty and the staff was very rude. Would not ever recommend. It was the worst service and food I have ever had.
Could be bigger portions, but overall delicious and good drinks!!!
Won’t waste my time explaining this overpriced mediocre food.
Just ordered from the crave car app! Paid almost $30 for three tacos and a pop! What a rip off definitely will not be ordering from them again.
Good food, busy, customer service is meh.
Beat Mexican food in Colorado. The torta cubano is absolutely delicious
Attentive, quick service. Loved the fish/octopus tacos!
Great food and prompt service. Nice tequila selection.
Phenomenal food! Super fresh and it hit the spot like no other! It reminded me of my vacation to Mexico. I highly recommend for anyone who loves real Hispanic cuisine!
The food is delicious, carnitas were amazing, I would totally recommend. However, I am 23 and I don’t think they believed my ID as my margarita tasted like limeaide or margarita mix. With a added tequila shot, it seemed like your normal cantina marg.
Food wasn't good, the green chili was way too sour, hopefully it was still good . Had to wait too long for our food. They brought us our appetizer without chips . I highly recommend that you don't go .
Lovely people. Really good food. We had thanksgiving dinner here after skiing. They were really busy and short staffed but they pulled through.
Beautiful kind people, excellent food and service. My favorite restaurant in Glenwood. Thanks Moni!!
Charming wait staff, great food.
Food and drinks were decent but after being served my smothered burrito with green chili but it came out orange when I asked if the order was correct I was told that the orange chili was indeed green which was not a big deal; however we had some interesting wall decor behind us. A large booger was decorating the wall behind us and made it hard to stomach the food.
Really great, fresh Mexican food. The traditional enchiladas were great, and not smothered in cheese. Waitstaff is so kind and good with kids. We’ll be back next time we’re in town!
